How you fit the story of your past into your present story is the central tension in this volatile and emotionally unpredictable film.

Floating together in a blue ocean, Sara and Jean are not just happy, they are blissfully content.

Sara is the host of a radio show, where she interviews serious people about serious subjects, war, racism and global politics. Jean is out of work, finding it difficult to get past the barriers in place due to his criminal history.

The day after Sara and Jean come back from vacation, she gets a glimpse of a man on the streetand she stops dead in her tracks, stricken. It is François, an old friend of both Sara and Jean, and Sara's former flame. It opens an abyss, an abyss which didn’t exist the day before.
