This documentary recounts the escape of the Dalai Lama from Tibetan to India in 1959.

Never Forget Tibet tells the story of the Dalai Lama’s journey into exile in his own words and from the previously unknown private diary of the Indian political officer who led him to safety.

Incorporating interviews with the Dalai Lama’s family, the Tibetan Community living in exile and those with historic ties to Tibet this film offers insights into the importance of our shared humanity and the wider message of compassion. It also documents the rich art, culture and traditions of the region.
